Sudsakorn, fused between folk and contemporary theatre, will be performed at Vic Hua Hin at 7:30pm every Saturday, until June 12.
Under Jitti Chompee's choreography and direction, the Thai musical theatre refreshes folk theatre likay into a contemporary visual, music and dance spectacle based on the famous Thai story. Sudsakorn is based on an epic poem, Phra Aphai Mani, written by Thailand's best known poet Sunthorn Phu. The title character, the son of the mermaid, is sent on a magical quest to find his father. With his magic dragon horse he goes on an adventure that changes his life forever.
